Apart from being a life-long weather nerd, I am currently enrolled in Plymouth State University pursuing a degree in atmospheric science and meteorology. A native of New Hampshire, I am very familiar with the distinct mix of extreme weather seen in this portion of the country, and this serves as part of the inspiration for the topic of the posts on this site. This blog will serve as a way for me to compose and share articles regarding current meteorological happenings in our world, as well as teach others a bit of the science behind why the atmosphere does some of what it does.
